Gynecologist who is an experienced hysteroscopist and is a pioneer in Essure

Now there is a non-incisional alternative, Essure. Essure does not require
general anesthesia, takes an average of 25 minutes to perform, and we offer it
either in hospital, or our office, or outpatient surgery center. Best of all, 92% of women
who are employed return to work the
very next day. Most patients are back to their regular physical activities in
one day.
Essure uses a hysteroscopic approach to place micro-inserts into the fallopian
tubes. During the next 3 months, your tissue grows in and around the
micro-inserts blocks the fallopian tubes, thus providing permanent pregnancy
protection.
